Eric Lien, Secretary
Eric Lien is a 4th generation Tampa, Florida native, holds a master’s degree in international business and is an OSHA Outreach Instructor for construction. He lived in Germany for 26 years before returning to Tampa in 2018. He has two adult daughters who reside in Germany. For the last decades, he has served in various officer roles with the following military service organizations:
- President, Old Ironsides and Rhein-Main Chapter, AUSA 2009-2012
- President, European Region, AUSA 2014-2018
- President, Suncoast Chapter, AUSA 2018-2023
- Adjutant, Squadron 111, Sons of American Legion 2025-Present
- Treasurer, Tampa Bay Post, Society of American Military Engineers 2025-Present
- Secretary, Tampa Bay Defense Alliance 2026-Present
Fluent in German, Mr.Lien worked as a procurement specialist at GM/Opel in Ruesselsheim, Germany before serving as a sales manager for Coca-Cola bottlers in the Rhein Main area of Germany from 1993-2010. His last role at Coca-Cola was regional sales manager in Liederbach, Germany. After leaving Coca-Cola, he became a consultant in the federal contracting sphere beginning in 2010. During the last sixteen years, he advised both prime and subcontractors and supported projects in Europe, North America, Africa and the Middle East.
As a subject matter expert in federal contracting, Mr.Lien has supported both small and large companies with the following efforts:
- Program Management/ Administration/ Proposal Preparation/ Federal Compliance
- Identifying Opportunities, Writing Winning Proposals and Capturing Business
- HR Compliance & Training Programs, OSHA Outreach Instruction
